Dragons Abreast Tasmania Hobart is the southern-most Dragons Abreast club in Australia and started in 2003 with a small group of determined women, some of whom still paddle with us today.
Dragons Abreast Tasmania Hobart is a local club for breast cancer survivors and special supporters.
It is a great way to get fit and have fun in the company of others who have also gone through breast cancer treatments. It is open to both men and women and the club welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels.
Club members train in Lindisfarne Bay, out of the Lindisfarne Rowing Club, every Saturday morning at 8.30 am.
Members have also paddled on the Huon, Derwent, Mersey, Tamar, North Esk Rivers, at Lake Barrington, have competed interstate and overseas, and will have a team competing in the Masters Games at Lake Barrington this October.
