Nominations open for Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women

Nominations are now open for the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women.

Women and women’s organisations that have made a significant contribution to the State at a local, national or international level in their field of endeavor can be nominated.

Who’s on the Honour Roll

The Honour Roll plays an important role preserving the stories of women and women’s organisations to ensure these achievements are not forgotten in the passage of time and can inspire future generations.

Women and women’s organisations inducted onto the Honour Roll are recognised for their contributions in a wide range of areas including: community, the arts, education, business, sport, government, Aboriginal affairs, and world-class work in cutting-edge fields of science.

You can find out who’s already on the Honour Roll by looking at the inductee list.

Do you know of women who should be nominated for the Honour Roll?

Please nominate them by submitting a nomination addressing the selection criteria. Nominations may be either submitted online or by completing a nomination form. Nominations close on 28 September 2018 and will be assessed by an independent judging panel

Successful nominees will be publicly recognised at an induction ceremony event, in a book detailing biographies and published online.
