Christiane Conésa-Bostock

Christiane Conésa-Bostock was born in Lyons, France and has lived in Tasmania since the early seventies. After completing her B.A. (Hons) and Dip. Ed. at the University of Tasmania, she began her writing career which has led to poetry, prose and reviews being published in Island, Outrider, Preludes, The Sunday Tasmanian, The Australian Multicultural Book Review, Ethnic Studies, Famous Reporter and Voice of Diversity.

In 1988, she completed her M.A. in Literature and Communication from Murdoch University and in 2000 a Doctorate of Teaching in Educational Psychology from the Northern Territory University. Her continuing literary interests include writing the migration experience, teaching Writers' Workshop at Rosny College and organising, in association with the Tasmanian Writers Centre, an annual literary event where young writers present their work at the Zum Café at Salamanca in Hobart.
