BUSY Sisters – Supporting Women in Male-Dominated Trades

The mentoring program is delivered by experienced female tradeswomen who understand the challenges faced by women entering non-traditional trades.

BUSY Sisters provides women with personalised support plans including weekly mentoring sessions, community connections, career assessments and resources for the first six months of their placement.

BUSY Sisters mentoring addresses a range of issues including:

• Navigating a male-dominated workplace environment.
• Financial stress, which can be considerably more challenging for women.
• Family and caring challenges.
• Bullying and harassment.
• Discrimination.
• Women’s health and safety.
• Confidence and resilience.
• Addressing the feeling of isolation.
