Nominating for the Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women

Women make an outstanding contribution to every area of the Tasmanian community. The Tasmanian Honour Roll of Women recognises and celebrates Tasmanian women and women’s organisations that have made a significant contribution locally, nationally, or internationally.

The Honour Roll encourages people in the community to discover more about the impact and achievements of Tasmanian women and women’s organisations throughout the State. It includes women from all walks of life and fields of endeavour, including community service, humanitarian pursuits, business, science, technology, arts, sport, education, medicine and the environment.

Organisations and individuals are invited to nominate eligible women and women's organisations from all backgrounds, cultures and fields of endeavour to be considered for induction onto the Honour Roll.

We encourage nominations of women and women's organisations from diverse communities, including Aboriginal women, women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and those from the LGBTIQA+ community.

Posthumous nominations are accepted, however, permission to nominate must be sought from the senior next-of-kin for recently deceased nominees to avoid distress to family.

Nominations for the 2025 Honour Roll are open from 9.00am, Sunday 31 March 2024 and will close at 12.00am (midnight) on Monday 30 September 2024.

Nominations for the Honour Roll 2025 will be accepted via an online Smartygrants process. However, if you are unable to access the online form, please email honourroll@dpac.tas.gov.au or call 1800 009 501 for support.
