Ms Jo Flanagan

Jo Flanagan is the CEO of Women’s Health Tasmania (WHT), a health promotion service working across Tasmania. WHT has a funded responsibility to speak on gender equity issues providing a unique platform to work for change.

In addition to a background in management in women’s services, Jo managed Anglicare’s Social Action and Research Centre (Tasmania’s largest non-government social policy unit), was Deputy CEO of TasCOSS, and has worked extensively in social policy, advocacy and research on a range of social issues affecting Tasmanians.

Jo is currently a Director of the Australian Women’s Health Network, co-Chair of the Tasmanian Sexual and Reproductive Health Collaborative Group, a member of the Primary Health Network Advisory Council, and a member of the Tasmanian Government’s Family Violence Consultative Group.
