Australian Ladies Amateur Radio Association (ALARA)
ALARA (Australian Ladies’ Amateur Radio Association) was formed in 1975 to encourage more women to get active on the air. Radio amateurs are mostly male, so a group was formed to support women interested in the hobby.
An ALARA meet will be held in Tasmania in 2023.
